AllCalculator is a free collection of calculators built specifically for people in the UK. From take-home pay and stamp duty to pension projections and the cost of a new driveway, every calculator is designed around UK rules, UK prices and the questions people here actually ask.
We currently have 52 calculators, and we're adding more all the time.
Why we built it
Many calculators online are built for other countries, use out-of-date rates or hide the working behind a single number. We wanted a site where every answer comes with an explanation: how it was worked out, what's included and what isn't.
How we keep calculators accurate
- Official sources. Tax, National Insurance, student loan and property tax figures come from HMRC, GOV.UK, Revenue Scotland and the Welsh Revenue Authority. All calculators currently use rates for the 2026/27 tax year.
- One source of truth. Every rate lives in a single place in our code, so when rates change each April or after a Budget, every calculator updates together.
- Shown working. Calculators show a breakdown, band by band or line by line, so you can check the result yourself.
- Honest estimates. Home improvement prices are shown as ranges based on typical UK costs, and you can enter your own quoted price.
Our guides
Each in-depth guide is written to explain a topic in plain English and is paired with a calculator. Guides are reviewed when rules change and show the date they were last updated.
Important
Our calculators and guides are for general information. They aren't financial, tax, legal or building advice, and they can't take every personal circumstance into account. For important decisions, speak to a regulated financial adviser, a tax adviser or a qualified tradesperson. See our terms and disclaimer for more.
