How UK Maths Quest works
Travel round five famous UK landmarks: Big Ben, Stonehenge, Cardiff Castle, Edinburgh Castle and the Giant's Causeway. Walk the 3D island or pick a destination from the map, then answer 10 maths questions at each stop. Score 6 or more to unlock the next landmark, and earn up to three stars for each one.
Three difficulty levels
- Easy: fractions, decimals, percentages and basic arithmetic.
- Medium: ratio, two-step algebra, averages, area, probability and speed, distance and time.
- Hard: quadratic equations, simultaneous equations, trigonometry and multi-step probability.
Every answer comes with a short step-by-step explanation, so it works as revision as well as a game. There is an optional timed challenge with 30 seconds a question, and you can retry any landmark as often as you like with fresh questions.
Privacy and accessibility
No account is needed. Your progress is saved only in your own browser. The game works with a keyboard (A to D or 1 to 4 to answer), on phones and tablets, and respects reduced-motion settings. Ticket prices, distances and journey details in the questions are made-up examples, not real visitor information.
